The following “cosmic” games are a series of fast paced, high energy, large group PE games set to a theme that is “Out of this World.” All 12 games have “cool” references to things like space, planets, stars, aliens, cosmos, meteors, time warps, jets, galaxies, and black holes….all of the things kids love!
These games are tried and true games that students love and ask for on a weekly basis. I have used them with up to 3 or 4 classes at the same time or as little as 1 class at a time. They are geared towards elementary-aged students, however I have used them with middle and high school students and they love them too! The games can be modified to fit your gym size and the equipment listed in the plan can be switched out for something else that you have in your closet.

The Fitness Bingo packet comes with 30 different Fitness Bingo Cards, a Teacher’s Bingo Call Sheet, a Win Pattern Guide and a Bingo Marker Copy Sheet. Once the Fitness Bingo Cards are copied and laminated, they can be used for multiple classes throughout the school year. This activity WORKS and your students will ask for it over and over again!
Teachers lead the activity by calling out fitness exercises listed on their call sheets. Students that have the exercise listed on their Fitness Bingo cards perform the exercise (for a set time or number of reps) and mark their cards. When a predetermined pattern is marked on a Fitness Bingo card first, that student is declared the Fitness Bingo Winner.
PE teachers can use Fitness Bingo as a warm up or as a standalone activity in a Fitness unit. Classroom teachers can use Fitness Bingo as a brain break, classroom energizer, recess activity or reward event.

Inside this PACKAGE are 25 “FANTASTIC FRISBEE” games, designed for students with a wide range of abilities, from 3rd Grade through 10th Grade. These HIGH FLYING DISC GAMES are ideal for large or medium sized groups, outside on a field, on a blacktop play area or inside a large gym. Some of the games are large group games that many students can be involved in at the same time and some of them are “break-out” games that students play in smaller groups. All of the games require either some hard outdoor or soft indoor foam flying discs and a few of them require some standard PE items such as cones, bases, hula hoops and beanbags.
These games can be used by PE TEACHERS as an extension of their throwing/catching units or during a standalone flying disc unit (after the basic skills have been taught). Each football station card provides a football-related skill (i.e. throwing, catching, running with the ball, etc. and includes a brief instructional direction and a graphic that depicts the activity. The activities are standards-based and there are plenty of activities for you to choose from or for the students to take part in during multiple class periods or recess times if necessary.
